DoubleTree by Hilton London - Ealing, Communal Areas

Fileturn were appointed to implement a further programme of works to Hilton’s DoubleTree brand hotel on Ealing Common, after successfully completing the first phase of transforming the 254 bedroom suites.

The refurbishment of the public areas was carried out in two phases. Phase one encompassed the complete strip out and refurbishment of reception, bar, lounge, restaurant, and female toilets. Full height patio windows were also installed leading onto a newly formed terrace area with tables chairs and screens.

The existing front entrance canopy was demolished and a new steel structure was erected, clad in black aluminium with feature lighting.

Final works in phase one were external work taking up and relaying of all paved areas, making good of all tarmac areas to the car park and the spraying of all the external windows to all floors.

Works for phase two involved the forming of a new gym and the refurbishment of the ballroom, pre-function area and bar, the male toilets, meeting rooms, lift lobby and corridors.
