Homeslice, a pizza restaurant, situated in the old BBC TV centre in White city has a special connection with two of the client team, Alan and Mark Wogan, due to their father’s connection with the building. To this end, it was our goal to create something exciting and memorable.
The wood burning pizza oven has come on a long way since chef Ry Jessup started Homeslice with a mobile wood-fired oven in 2011. The new oven requires specialist extraction, smoke filtration and a route to the roof for termination of the duct.
The floor finish to the restaurant was polished concrete with exposed aggregate. To complete this section of the project, permission had to be obtained to site the concrete wagon and pump outside whilst maintaining access for traffic and residents of the area.
