Our brief for The Bermondsey Square Hotel was to revamp both the in-house restaurant and the bedrooms.
Work in the restaurant began with a complete strip out of the reception, bar and dining areas with the aim of reconstructing a modern and industrial look. To obtain this look and feel, we incorporated the use of exposed brick walls and resin floor finishes. We installed new servery wall units and circular library units that formed seating areas as well as a large oak feature display table. Lounge areas were formed with herringbone oak flooring with inlaid carpets.
The meeting rooms on the 1st floor were stripped to allow space for 11 additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 new meeting room. The existing air conditioning, ventilation and electrical services were modified to suit the new layout. The refit of the bedrooms included finishing touches such as contemporary case goods and furniture and feature LED mirrors.
